Tri-County Life Learner's Mission Statement

"To provide adult learners from Buckingham, Cumberland and Prince Edward counties with literacy instruction that will improve quality of life opportunities."

Located in Central Virginia

Tri-County Life Learners (TCLL) is a non-profit literacy organization established to provide life-long learning opportunities for residents of Buckingham, Cumberland and Prince Edward Counties. Our main emphasis is on literacy for adults and English as a second language.

Our tri-county region has an illiteracy rate of more than 30% of the population age sixteen and over. In response to this desperate need for literacy education, a volunteer Board of Directors was formed from each county. The Board meets quarterly to oversee the organization.

This service is free and available to the public. Anyone needing help will get it. Our program depends on the generosity of the community. Tri-County Life Learners accepts donations from churches, schools, businesses, and local civic organizations wishing to serve their community by offering monetary support.

Anyone interested in improving their skills in reading, writing, or speaking should contact the office of Tri-County Life Learners.
